- Imagine being poor. Even a dog is richer than you.
- Why are the patricians so mean to us Plebeians.
- "Yeah!"
- We want more control in this lame goverment!
- "We will make you guys farm more! Since we are now in control. Muahahha."
- We want more rights than just working for you! You selfish pigs!
- Why are you guys so mean to us!!
- Patricians thought they were superior to those who are Plebeians. So than Plebeians were being treated very poorly.
- Wait come back!
- Were done with you rich people,were running away!
- Yeah!
- Patricians was irritated that the Etruscan King has more power than everyone of them,and so they overthrew him. After kicking the king out,the Patricians established the Senate which is a body of 300 men.
- We will let you create more laws for yourselves,just please do not leave.
- Okay. But we better have a part in this government.
- Now that the Patricians now have more control over the government now,they made sure they had more power than the others.
- Alright.
- In order for us Plebeians have a say in this government,we demand that the 12 tables aka civil laws,is created.
- The Plebeians were still being disrespected after fighting back and so they decided to run away,knowing they do most of the house chores for these lazy Patricians.
- The Patricians realized they are nothing without the Plebeians being their security,and so they purposed a proposal. To not let the Plebeians run away,the Patricians allowed the plebeians to elect 10 officials which is called the Tribune of the Plebs. But this was not enough for the Plebeians,and so they demanded to have a say in the government,and so they did.
- Now that the Plebeians are part of the goverment,they demanded that there would be more laws,and so the 12 tables were created.
