- Both France and Spain provide the Americans with food,supplies, troops and military experience.
- The Costs of the War
- The Battle of Yorktown would be the last major battle of the American Revolution -both American and French troops bombarded the British making them surrender. Soon after British leaders began to negotiate a peace treaty.
- The United States was independent. It boundaries would be the Mississippi River on the west, Canada on the north, and Spanish Florida on the south.
- A total of 25,700 Americans died in the war, 1,400 remained missing, and 8,200 were wounded.
