- 4 Years Ago, Christmas Day
- My parents officially divorced and my dad leaves. I was 11 at the time.
- 4 years passes, and my dad enters my bedroom unannounced after I had a long day at work. It's my 15th birthday.
- Good riddance. I'm so tired of my parents arguing all the time; I feel so anxious because of him. Now I can finally focus on what's important.
- Your loss, I don’t need anything from you. Leave me alone and get out of my room.
- Come on, let’s take pictures. I don’t have any of you since you were 11
- Happy Birthday! Come downstairs so I can get some pictures of you!
- No, I'm tired and I don't want anything from you. Go celebrate with my brothers.
- Don't touch me. I said I don't need nor want anything from you. Why can't you just leave me alone?!
- My dad then tries to get physical and attempts to drag me out of bed to come downstairs.
- After multiple attempts, he does eventually walk me downstairs into the kitchen to "celebrate".
- Why do you have to be so ungrateful? Stop being so mean, spoiled brat.
- I sat there with my brothers and father. While in the kitchen, I feel really anxious and uncomfortable, as I just want to get it over with so I can take a nap and relax. I started questioning my dad's actions which sent time into a spiral, making a run for it.

- I managed to successfully lock my dad out of my room, thankfully. I then had a panic attack and question everything regarding my dad; as I decided to text my best friend to vent to.
- I need to hurry and lock my door! The nerve of this guy!
- I told Anant everything that had happened and she comforted me. Essentially, she was the only person keeping me sane at that point. I felt calm and safe after a while of talking to her and waited it out until my dad had left.

- I’m fine. I’ll just lock my door for now and will try to whenever he comes over again. I just wish he would take the hint and leave me alone
