- Della walked past the window and saw the perfect present for her husband Jim. It was a beautiful chain for one of his most prized possessions, his gold watch. But with only $1.87 how will she pay for it?
- Oh my... That chain is beautiful! How will I pay for it though all I have is $1.87.
- How much for my hair?
- Della walks into the hair salon and asks the lady if she will buy her hair. The lady says yes and starts to cut Della's beautiful, long, brown hair.
