- In the begggining of the story Travis gos over all the rules and how important it is to not break them. By stepping on one singlemouse. So the caveman starves. And the caveman, please note, is not just anyexpendable man, no! He is an entire future nation.
- When they come across the T-Rex, It is described as, Each lower leg was a piston, a thousand pounds of white bone, sunk in thick ropes of muscle, sheathed over in a gleam of pebbled skin like the mail of a terrible warrior. Each thigh was a ton of meat, ivory, and steel mesh (Bradbury 229).
- The story hits it peak and everything begins to go down hill when, Eckels, not looking back, walked blindly to the edge of the Path, his gunlimp in his arms, stepped off the Path,
- They kill the dinosour and quickly get into the mechine due to Eckles breaking of the rules. He had found hisway back to the Path, climbed into the Machine.
- Eckles discovered he killed a butterfly which then leads to the future being changed,, and him being killed. “Not a little thing like that! Not a butterfly!” cried Eckels.
