- Hey Abdullah, I have a physics quiz tomorrow about newtons laws of motion and I did not study for it yet so I'm in a bit of a hurry...
- No worries!, these are the easiest concepts in physics as they are extremely logical
- Oh my god really!, thanks you are a life saver
- Besides that, I can demonstrate these laws to you through basketball!
- So what's the first law?
- Simple. According to Newton's first law, objects in motion tend to remain in motion until acted on by an external force
- What does that mean?!
- Now, when I throw this ball at the backboard it will go in a straight motion unless the backboard acts as a stopping force
- Ohhh, that makes sense now, and what about the Second law?
- Exactly!, I see you are getting excited
- So Newton Second law is simply just one simple formula that states that Force (F) equals the mass (m) multiplied by the acceleration (a) which is written as F=ma. Would you rather get hit by the soft ball or the basketball?
