- When sedimentary rocks are subjected to heat and pressure, metamorphic rocks are formed.
- With heat and pressure are applied to igneous rocks they become compact and turn into metamorphic rock.
- I am Lavaman and I started as magma and I was exposed to extreme heat. I am a molten or semi-molten rock mixture.
- After the completion of the rock cycle we melt back to magma.
- metamorphic rocks that are exposed to weathering and erosion break down into sediment. Sediments can be compressed and compacted to form sedimentary rocks.
