- 3. Bill is discussed in the committee - The bill is discussed to think whether or not it's a good idea.

- 7. Bill is discussed by the Senate - Bill is debated and voted on again and if it passes it continues.
- 8. Bill is sent to the president.
- 9. Bill sent to president - The president can either pass it to become a law or veto it.
