- How is it a chemical change? I thought it was a physical change because it is irreversible.
- I can tell because a chemical change is when the properties change, in an explosion the properties change.
- But it is irreversible so it is a physical change, right?

- For example baking cookies is irreversable. what type of change do you think it is?

- This is an ice cube melting. It is reversible. What do you think it is, a yor chemical change?
- Exactly! but how do you know that?
- Because the molecules aren't changing.
