- (2)C varies inversely as Z, So what is the answer son? You can guess. Always remember the formula that i said to you.
- Lets get to word examples first
- I think, C=C/Z
- Wrong son, But nice try. You forgot the K its always in the equation just like in the formula.The correct answer is C=K/Z.
- Ohh ok Dad
- (2)So we equate it to 4=k/8^2. Then multiply 8 by 8, and now it is 4=k/64.then multiply both sides to 64 equals to 256=k
- Always remember that the first letter to be mention in the given is always in the left side of the equation.
- Ok now try this. If m varies inversely to square of x, and m=4 when x=8, find m when x=4,
- (2)so the equation is now this. m=256/4^2, then multiply 4 by 4. equals m=256/16
- (3)And just divide 256/16=16. so we can say that m=16
- Now on 2nd step, we are gonna go back to equation m=k/x^2 and substitute x to 4 since we already solve the value of k earlier.
