The animals gathered in the big barn where Old Major was ready to tell them about his dream.

Man is our enemy! They treat us like slaves, and make us do their labor. You all need to rebel!
Old Major gave a speech to the Animals about the cruelty and selfishness of human beings, encouraging them to rebel against man.

My dream made me remember a song. Its name is "Beasts of England". Let us sing it together!

He tells the animals about his dream which made him remember an old song, by the name of “Beasts of England”. Despite being old and his voice hoarse, he sung the tune for the animals.

The song threw the animals into wild excitement. They all sung the song over and over until it awoke Mr. Jones, who fired rounds of his gun into the darkness breaking up the meeting and sending the animals to sleep.
