- The natives were very kind to them and made a fire as it began to get cold.
- After gathering wood for the fire, a snake bites Paul, and the other begin to talk...
- He must be a murderer and is being punished

- However, Paul just shakes the snake away and suffers no injuries.
- A man named Publius welcome Paul into his home. Paul healed Publius' very sick father.
