I was sent with more than 1000 men to find the Seven Cities of Gold in 1540. I discovered the Grand Canyon, the Pacific Ocean, and the Palo Duro Canyon in Texas, but not the Seven Cities of Gold. Even though I brought back valuable information, my expedition was a failure. Because I found no gold, Spain lost interest in Texas.
My name is Sieur de La Salle. I was sent on a voyage to colonize at the mouth of the Mississippi river in 1685. I instead ended up at Matagorda Bay in Texas. To claim this land for France, I built a fort called Fort St Louis. When I left for Mexico to get supplies, the Karankawa tribe attacked the fort and by 1686, 45 of my 400 men lived. In 1687, me and the last 7 survivors left for Canada. My own men killed me on the the way and were the only ones that returned. When Spain Found out that I claimed the land they started to send missions to and regained interest in Texas.

My name is Charmi Patel and I was sent to study octopi in 2024. On the way to an octopus' cave I discovered a nest of bird eggs and a mother bird protecting them. The bird was breathing and living underwater. I wrote a report on what I found and inspired more people to study the underwater bird.
