- Erikson's third stage of life is Initiative vs Guilt which is when the child (3 to 6 years) began to question if they are good or bad while seeking new experiences in life, if parnets scold them the sense of guilt will rise, for example we have little Pandora thinking if it is right to disobey her mother again with playing videos late at night

- Am I a good kid still for being here late at night playing games when my mom told me not to
- Am I actually like who I am right now? Is there more to me?
- when the teen is trying to figure out who they are as they change in life, Pandora here is questioing what hobbies she likes subjects, what she wants to be when she grows up
- Identity vs Role confusion
- do I want to be with him? or should I bare the heartbreak I might have and leave?...
- The 6th stage of Erikson is Intimacy vs Isolation with will I ever be loved?
- the person can go out and be intimacy with others and love life
- Or be in Isolation for the fear of commitment and opening up bringing weak social support
