- This is Okonkwo's first wife with no specific name.
- This is Unoka the father of Okonkwo and is deceived to be useless and lazy
- Okonkwo travels to Mbaino to deliver the message that they must hand over Umuofia.
- Okonkwo despises his father because he did nothing for the family, was lazy and weak.
- This led Okonkwo to be more dominant and agressive with his family and l
- If Mbaino refuses they are to go at war.
- Okonkwo was therefore chosen to represent his clan for being the fiercest warrior if to go to war.
