- O Sage, I request you to visit the Pandavas at a certain hour of the day after Draupadi has finished her meal, with all of your disciples.
- Duryodhana, I am pleased with your hospitality. What would you like in return?
- Okay. I am, as you must know, fond of testing others.
- Later, in the Pandavas' ashrama
- I request you to be ready with food when my disciples and I return from our bath in the river.
- O Respected One, please enter our ashrama and accept our hospitality.
- How will I feed Sage Durvasa and his disciples if I have finished my meal, and the aksaya-patra has exhausted itself? What can I do? I will pray to the Lord.
- Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya
- This is Krishna's response to my prayers?
- Lord Krishna, Sage Durvasa is here and has asked for a meal after the aksaya-patra has exhausted itself. Please tell me, what should I do?

- Here, give me the pot.
- Draupadi, can you please give me some food, since I am very hungry?
