- Stop asking me Curley, I ain't seen your wife, keep track of her!
- Have you seen my wife?! No, have you been with her, you have haven't you?!
- George tells Slim how Lennie gets treated badly just because he is tall and is intimidating.

- Everyone always complains how Candy's dog smells, has no teeth, and has rheumatism and how he should get rid of him.
- I can't believe Slim might be having an affair with my beautiful wife! Ugh!
- Curley thinks Slim is with his wife at the barn and goes to confront him, but realizes he is alone.
- Lennie stop! You have to let go of him!
- Curley's wife has the eye for many guys and tries to attract them by always being around them.
- Curley is mad because he keeps thinking Slim's having an affair with his wife.
- Curley throws a punch at Lennie since he thought Lennie was laughing at him, so then they get into a big fight where Lennie breaks Curley's wrist.
