- Hi! I'm Polly Proton! I'm always so positive and happy! However many of me there are, makes up the Atomic Number.
- I'm Edward Electron and I'm always negative and mad. I always react to other elements.

- And I'm Nemo Neutron! I am neutral and keep the peace between these humans.
- My mom and I make up the Atomic mass of the household. This guy does nothing.

- This is my cousin Victor Valence Electron. He is responsible for bonding with our friends and family.
- Yeah, I decided if we like others or not.

- Well, son, everything is made out of teeny tiny things called atoms. They are the building blocks of anything that has mass. Let's take a closer look at atoms.

- We should bake a cake. That's a chemical change. You can't get the original thing back.
- And a physical change is melting and freezing ice and water. It is still water and you can get it back.

- And the salt is an example of a pure substance.
