- the weather was cold and unbearable he was dying to light a match
- Little Match Girl I light a match and imagine a delicious dinner
- the match goes out in the air he's hungry he can't sell anything so he re-lights a match
- when she lights the last match she sees her dead grandmother begs him to stay with her grandmother hugs her
- The girl was no longer cold, she felt comfortable with her grandmother, she forgot everything, it was like heaven.
