- Before modern media, art, literature and media had an aura. It was rare, and unique
- It is a printing machine! Now even the working class can have access to reading material!

- Then came capitalism and the commodification of media. Reproduction replaced originals

- An important element of 'the aura' is that the media was not able to be reproduced. Only certain people were lucky enough to experience it

- Media became a comodidty, and more often than not, a means to sell more and more things to consumers.

- The media would take lifetimes to create, and most of it could not be moved, incentivizing people to travel for it, creating a certain aura

- Media has become extremely accessible to the average person, leading to a content overload

- Eventually, with the advent of modern technologies, a lot of media became easy to reproduce, and therefore more accessible
