- Hey, Vis-(After she speaks) ...oooookay...well-(After she speaks) No, no, that's not true, I'm just...I'm happy to see you, Mavis. Um...how about a little tour?
- (After she speaks)-You're not allowed call me that. (After she speaks)-What? What did you expect? A welcome into my life? I wouldn't be here unless I had to. And wipe that disgusting frown of your face, please. (After she speaks) Ugh, fine.
- Um...This is one of the bathrooms. I have 15 other ones, but you know what bathrooms look like, so I won't show you the rest. Moving on!
- (After she speaks) Uh-huh...
- This is one of my living rooms. It looks most like a normal home, so I thought you'd like it-(After she speaks) No, I didn't mean that, I'm sorry! (After she speaks) Okayyy, good. Well, these are all the maids. Teresa, Diana, Beverly, Julie, Evie, Wanda, and our newest recruit, Georgia.
- (After she speaks)-Oh, yes! THANK YOU for reminding me about how poor Dad and I am compared to YOUR GREATNESS. (After she speaks) *grumbles* It's FINE. (After she speaks) Cool, I guess...
- Mavis wasted no time telling her mom what she thought about her. And why shouldn't she? It is illogical to run out of someone's life and then come crashing back in 16 years later, Mavis thought.
- And lastly, this is my family! The man is my husband, his name is Carlos. He's WONDERFUL. My older child is in college, like you. Her name's Maria. Isn't she DARLING? Then the younger one is in elementary school, sixth grade. Her name is Darla. She's adorably perfect, too! So, what do you think-
- (After she speaks)-WHAT DO I THINK?! HOLD ON. THEY'RE YOUR CHILDREN?!
- And so, the tour starts! Mavis isn't too interested in anything, though she agreed to the tour.
- (After she speaks) -Um, excuse me, but I'm still your mother, whether you have prejudiced opinions about me or not, okay?! And even if you don't see me as such, I AM older than you, and I will be respected. You don't even know why I left! You just assume that I didn't have a reason-(After she speaks) *sigh* You won't...you won't understand.
- How DARE you just throw Dad and me away like we don't matter?! How can you just love us one second, and desert us the next?! Why-(After she speaks)Okay, then tell me. WHY DID YOU LEAVE?!?! (After she speaks) That's NOT an answer!
- Mavis snaps at her mom AGAIN but tries to be better. She is introduced to all the maids in the house.
- We don't really know much about you, Mavis, but you can't shout at her! JUST SHUT UP, MAVIS! SHUT. UP!
- (Insert squabbles)
- Mavis meets her stepsisters in a different living room, though she isn't too happy to meet them! She is shocked, appalled, and clearly, FURIOUS!
- Mavis starts shouting at her mom and her poor life choices, but Kristine loses her cool. She fires back with insults. Carlos, Darla, and Maria are confused about what's happening, so they don't intervene.
- Mavis starts a full-on screamfest, and Katherine joins in. Since Katherine's family doesn't know the full story, they just go to Katherine's side, seeing her as a kind and generous soul.
