- Melanie was in a teching booth not listing to her teaching machine instead day dreaming about the birds that look like flying flames (simle)hoping her mom and dad will let her go to natural park to see the flamingos.
- Falling Action
- when the last flamingo died we put up this fake one so peole could see what they look like
- She made it to the natural park! Melanie's dad was talking to the tour guide who is the owner of the non-polluted park. As they were distracted Melanie ran off into the forrest to find a flamigo.
- Resolution
- Maybe if the world was not so polluted I wouldn't have to mature so quickly like this.
- she finally found one; but as she got closer to touch it the flamingo didnt move. when she pet the flamingo it tipped over. It was fake!Melanie started to cry.
- Theme/ conflict
- Melanie's dad and the tour gide caught up to her and saw her crying. The tour gide started to explain why it was fake.
- Melanie stoped crying and picked up the fake flamingo.
- Melanie learned that she had to grow up and realize that she wasn't going to ever see a flamingo because people had polluted the earth to the point where the air wasn't breathable for animals without a gasmask.
