- Environment is - a specific place on Earth and all the living and non-living elements that are there.-The rainforest is part of the Erath's environment, with animals of all kinds living there.
- Landform is - a natural feature of the Earth's surface, for example a mountain, valley, lowland or volcano. - Mount Everest is a landform with icy tips.
- Landscape is - a section of the Earth's surface made up of a variety of natural or mad-made geographical feature. Eg., Deserts, Coasts, Rainforests.- The Central Coast is a type of landscape.

- Continent is - the land mass on Earth is divided into continents. The seven continents are Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, Australia- We live on the continent Australia.
- Weathering is - the physical or chemical breakdown of materials into smaller materials.- Crystals get weathered down to turn into crystals.
- Fault is - a separation or crack in the Earths crust caused bye stress and movement of Earth's tectonic plates.- After an earthquake a fault can happen from all the movement.
