- God created light and it was good he then separated the light from the dark and called it “day” and “night.”
- God separated the water beneath it from the water above it. That was the case. The vault was named "sky" by God. There was also an evening and a morning.
- God said "Let the ground produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees producing fruit with seed in it, according to their diverse sorts." so god created plants and seeds creating vegetation.
- He also made the stars. God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.
- God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
- God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
