- After Bud's mom passed he went to an orphanage
- Bud got adopted by the Amose's and they were very mean to him.
- The next morning when Bud woke up Todd was there looking at Bud with a pencil in his nose.
- The Amoses locked Bud in the shed for the night because Todd was telling lies and got Bud in trouble.
- Bud broke out of the shed and snuck into the Amoses house to grab his suitcase.
- Bud left the Amoses because they were mean and now he is on the lam after grabbing his suitcase.
