- "Too bad for you, kiddo, because you're going to be related to us. There's no turning back now."
- CONGRATULATIONS JOAQUIN!
- "We look like huge dorks"

- Maya
- "I just wanted you to know... I want you to know that I am very, very sorry for all the things I've put you and our family through. I've done a lot of work here, I've made a lot of changes, and I'm ready to come home and make things right."
- "I know. It's ok."
- Grace
- "Milly?"
- "Grace! I'm so glad you could come!"
- This is an important scene because Joaquin is officially a family with Mark and Linda. He also makes amends with his girlfriend, Birdie. But, most importantly, he now has two families, Mark and Linda and Grace, Maya, and Jessica, who all want him and love him. He finally has everything that he has yearned for his entire life.
- "Three!"
- This is a very monumental scene for Maya because her main conflict is resolved with her mom. She forgives her and they finally become that mother and daughter pair that Maya hasn't known since she was really little.
- This is Grace's most important scene. She has resolved all of her conflicts except for the pain of missing her daughter. However, she knows that she'll be better if she sees her. So, she talks to Daniel and Catalina, the adoptive parents, and they all agree that she can see her. In this scene, Grace is finally at peace.
