- Hi doctor, I need help yesterday when I came back from my hiking trip, I had this red circle rash and I didn't know what is it, do you think that this might be diseases?
- Hi, I am not really a doctor I am a medical consultant, but I will ask you a couple questions to understand what this sickness is.
- Yes, it had lots and lots of grass did that cause it?
- On your hiking trip, did it have any grassy areas?
- I felt a lot of pain mostly in my muscles and serval fevers and headache, I had my dog, fluffy.
- Did you feel anything after your trip, and did you have any furry animals with you on your trip?
- How do I treat it and avoid it?
- This disease is called Lyme disease and it is mostly cased around grassy areas or woody areas and it can be caused from fury animals. and with a few weeks of antibiotics you could be treated of lyme diese
- You can easily avoid it by wearing long sleeves when going into places filled with plants, and to avoid it from having an outbreak you could ask others to the places they have been to and see if any of the places might contain this disease. A treatment can be using antibiotics for a few weeks.
