- todd and bud had gotten into a fight.bud had slapped todd and left a hand mark.
- bud had been put in a shed after he slapped todd by the amoses .he had been attacked by fish heads and bees.he had broke the window and escaped.
- bud had went inside the house to get his suitcase that the amoses had took away.he had seen the shotgun by the ice box and hid it so the amoses wont find .bud had got a bowl of warm water and todd pee him.bud had broke out of the house and been on the lamb.
