- Now I have 21$ to buy Jim a present
- Della found a chain to Jim’s prized watch. She knew that it should fit him perfectly.
- Yes! The perfect chain for Jim’s watch!
- Della was excited to present her gift to Jim. But something was off…
- Jim! I know my hair is different, but come open your present!
- Well you see, Della, I had bought you a comb for your hair.
- Turns out Jim had sold his watch to buy Della the perfect comb for her hair.
- Despite the ironic situation, neither Jim nor Della was dissatisfied with their gifts, though they had ended with items of no use.
