- Amanda takes a long gaze at Notre Dame Secondary School and begins walking to the entrance of the building.
- In the hallway…
- Amanda looks for directions to her class and asks a tall senior for help.
- No worries. It’s on your right, down the hall.
- Hello, sorry to bother you. I’m trying to find History Room 101.
- Thank you.
- In history class…
- Amanda takes a seat in the back row. The teacher then asks Amanda to introduce herself to the class.
- Uh-oh. My name is Amanda. I’m a freshman and I love dramatic arts.
- That’s great Amanda. It’s wonderful to have you in my history class for this semester.
- Good morning class. I’d like to get to know all of you. Let’s start with Amanda.
- After asking Amanda to introduce herself, the teacher goes through the class asking students for introductions. The teacher then gives Amanda a poster for an after-school drama club and smiles at her.
- Okay everyone, that’s the end for history today. Enjoy the rest of the day and see you tomorrow!

- Amanda enters the cafeteria, takes a seat at a table, and asks people passing by if they want to sit with her.
- Bell rings for lunch break

- Hey, would you like to sit with me for lunch today? My name is Amanda and yours?
- Amanda attends the after-school drama club where she meets a girl named Sophia, another freshman who was just as nervous as her to start secondary school without friends.

- Mine’s Amanda.
