- AnaphaseAnaphase the the third phase of mitosis, when the sister chromatids separate.
- Telophase Telophase is the fourth stage of mitosis, when the the chromosomes begin to uncoil and two new identical nuclei form.
- Cytokinesis Cytokinesis is different for animal and plant cells. In plant cells, the cell plate grows outward towards the cell wall until two new cells form. Animals cells use a furrow that gets deeper and deeper until the cell membrane comes together and divides the cells.
