- In this scene, Viola's ship crashed into the sea. She reached land to see the captain. She then asks if her brother is alive
- My lady! I have seen your brother tie himself on a drift wood and float to the shore! I assure you he is safe
- Heres gold for you kind words, Sir. Say, do you know this country well
- Viola gives the captain gold for his kind words and asks if he knows this country well.
- Thank you, and yes I was born here not a few miles away.

- Viola comes up with a plan to disguise as a boy, she tells the captain to keep it a secret
