- "One and only winning ticket ! Win a big heap load of cash with the winning lottery ticket, right here!" shouted the sweepstakes vendor.
- "I would like to purchase your lucky ticket sir," said Horace. (Horace proceeds to dig into his pocket to give the man 50 cents)
- "Fifty cents for the ticket," said the kind sweepstake vendor.
- Horace's lucky number was 13 becausehis birthday was the 13th and since he was now in his 31st year, he joined the 13 and 31 to get 1331.
- Also the series 'h' was the initialletter of Horace'sfirst name. He then clinched the matter together and there was no doubt aboutthe ultimate result. The winning number was his.

- *He was think of buying things at such high prices like a nice Porsche,or a Chevrolet and a new house in some rich area, just then a taxi came speeding down the road and suddenly........."screech! bang!"
