- MOSES, MOSES
- Free my people from egypt, they have suffered.
- Moses has a father in law named Jethro. Moses takes care of Jethro's animals. Moses was leading them to the west side of the mountain
- But how? I am not a great man
- Moses sees a bush burning without being destroyed, and heard God call out from the bush.
- But if I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your ancestors sent me,’ then the people will ask, ‘What is his name?’ What should I tell them?
- You can do it because I will be with you. This will be the proof that I am sending you: After you lead them out you will worship me here
- The lord told Moses to go to the Pharoh of Egypt to free his people.
- Tell them, ‘I Am Who I Am. When you go to the Israelites, tell them, ‘I Am’ sent me to you. Tell the Israelites that you were sent by Yahweh, the God of your ancestors.
- Moses was doubting that he would be able to free Gods people from Egypt
- Moses and God talk about what Moses should do when he gets there.
- God tells Moses to tell the Israelites that he was sent by 'Yahweh'
