- Hii!! today i am going to tell you a story..Long time back there used to be a boy named manav. He wanted to become a part of the army of his kingdom but could not because he was poor.
- Once the king of the kingdom announced that whosoever is going to make such a hammer which can help them break the stones easily , king will grant them with one of their wish..
- the boy heard it and and got some impure iron. but he wanted to make the iron pure he used the process of metallurgy of iron.
- the boy started by the process of roasting which is heating the iron in air to remove water and converting sulphides into oxides.then he proceeded further with adding of coke and limestone on top and heating them
- . Then the blasting hot air is entered in the furnace which causes it to form ignite.forming of ignite produces co and raises the temparature to about 2000 degree. as the co raises up it reduces FE2O3to form co2.Hence the iron is formed.
- the boy uses that iron to make the hammer and gives it to the king. the king becomes happy and grants him his wish of becoming a part of the army of the kingdom.
