- Mr.Poe was the one who told the Baudelaire children about their parent's death. The children's parents said on there will that the children must go with the closest relatives, and the money could only be given to Violet when she was the right age.
- Because the Baudelaire children's parents dieing they ad to go live with Mr.Poe. It is a beautiful home with his family.
- Count Olaf made Violet marry him so he can get the fortune. If Violet does not let him marry her, he will kill sunny.
- Because of the play Count, Olaf ran away and was never to be seen. He turned off the lights and vanished.
