- Irony is the difference between the way things are and they way things seem.This is an example of irony because the scary furry is afraid of being in the scary woods.

- Sub Plots are less important plots that are apart of the larger story. This is an example of a sub plot because the lady is talking to the giant pig which isn't apart of the bigger story.

- Parallel events are deliberately repeated plot events. This is an example of the term because the animal is walking the same way more than once.

- Motivation is the reason a character acts, thinks, or feels a certain way. This is an example of a motivation because it shows why a character acts a certain way.

- An inference is when you make an educated guess with the text you already know. This in example of an inference because the cat is making an educated guess that they are girl bosses.
