- Do you want to play outside, Grandpa?
- Yes, of course!
- As the years went by, he started getting increasingly ill and less energetic.
- Experiencing the death of my Grandfather at an early age helped me become a more mature person and to cherish my friends and family while I can.
- Do you wanna play outside?
- No today, I'm not feeling well.
- And before the possibility of my Grandpa's death even crossed my mind, he was gone.
- He's what?!
- From an early age, I and my siblings desperately wanted a dog, but our parents resisted fearing we were not responsible enough.
- Although I wasn't super close with him, his death still impacted me heavily and infused values in me I still have to this day.
- But in the weeks leading up to my sister's birthday, we started visiting the pet shop more and more, and one dog in particular caught our eye.
- And on my sister's birthday, we officially adopted the puppy and took him home.

- All of the challenges that come with taking care of a dog have made me a more responsible and caring person.
