- Hi! My name Dakoda. I am a young member of the Karankawa tribe in Southern Texas
- Today you are lucky enough for me to show you around here.
- We hunt for food in Karankawa. We eat buffalo, but primarily fish. We fish it then hang it up then we cook and eat!
- We use wood as the structure for our homes, we call Teepees. Then we cover them with reeds, a tall water grass for shelter.

- Karankawa is a very intelligent tribe. We use our resources around us wisely.
- We use wood from trees to make Teepees for shelter and canoes for fishing.
- O'-Si-Yo'! My name is Dasan. Here in the Karankawa tribe we are a unique group of people. Some things that make us unique are that we make baskets and pottery. And the leader of our tribe uses a long bow and arrow for a weapon.
- We are also known for our distinctive physical appearance.

- In conclusion, Karankawa fishes for food, uses wood and reeds for Teepees, we are located in Southern Texas, we use trees for canoes to fish, and we are very unique.
