- Photosynthesis happens
- The animal eats
- Transition to a fossil fuel
- carbon dioxide is dragged down from the atmosphere to make food from carbon (carbon dioxide + water -> glucose + oxygen)
- Mined
- The animal eats the carbon plant, and the carbon moves into the animals, Predators can also get the carbon from other animals. This can also be known as respiration (glucose + oxygen -> carbon dioxide + water)
- Burned as a fossil fuel
- Once the animals dies or poops out the food the carbon becomes a fossil fuels and is placed in sedimentary rock
- Goes back to atmosphere
- Once humans mine the sedimentary rock they find the fossil fuel, they take it to a factory
- Once the fossil fuels are taken to the factory they are burned with oxygen (combustion), this makes carbon dioxide (coal + oxygen -> carbon dioxide + water (+energy))
- Once the fossil fuels are burned with oxygen they rise back into the atmosphere to start the cycle again
