- Matilda was born in Dunfermline, United Kingdom.
- Growing up Matilda had a wealthy childhood. Soon enough she was ready for school.
- Matilda attended a school run by nuns.
- See you after school Matilda.
- As she was getting older people started to think she was a nun because of her school! Nuns are not allowed to marry.
- Matilda had to prove that she was not a nun and even had to go to court. This was one of the challenges she faced as a woman in medieval times.

- YOU ARE A NUN!
- Finally, Matilda was proven that she was not a nun after hours of arguing. She married King Henry I and was declared queen.
