- In January mid winter, a abandon dog walked on the property Mr. and Ms. Lacey, and Doris. While she was shoveling snow.
- Falling Action
- Doris brought the dog in the house Doris parents wouldn't let her keep it .She know the dog would have to go to the pound Doris father made little money.
- Resolution
- After 9 days dad took the dog to the pound. Doris was distress about the solution.She was exhausted from the day before. About the dog being taken away But she know she had to get up to eat.
- She came down stairs to eat and her parents was siting at the table. Her dad told her to feed the dog before it died of starvation.Doris started to tremble when she heard her dad say that.
- Doris went in the other room to see her dad let the dog stay because the pound had 10 dogs in one cage, it smelt funny and was dirty he probably would've been put down.
