  • The time I realized I wasn't a little child anymore was when I started having serious conversations with my friends. I realized it was a moment that the other person was 'vulnerable'. I also felt more mature because they had thought of me as a person to trust with such a secret.
  • P4
  • The reason this happened was because my friends had realized something about themselves and it kind of meant that they were growing, that means I was too. I had felt really good knowing that my friends had felt comfortable enough with me that they can see me as someone that can supprt them and just be someone to talk to whenever they needed somebody.

  • Although the conversation was through text and one of my friends lived across the country, I still felt like I needed to talk to them about it and tell them that I was someone they could trust. I went to school the next day and told them just that. It felt good to know there was a good friendship.

  • Basically, in my experience, I couldn't see myself as a little kid anymore because of how much time has passed by and how our minds weren't so innocent. We were at the point where a person's mind finds out things about themselves, mentally and or emotionially. At that point, I noticed some things about myself as well.
  • Sometime in my 7th grade year, I found out that I was not straight. This was one of the moments that I truly felt that I was growing. Even to this day, I feel the somewhat the same. I have not really came out to a lot of people directly, maybe 4 or 5 friends but I realized how hard it was to actally say it to someone, not knowing how they'll react.
  • I don't know how i'll feel about myself when i'm an actual adult with responsibilities, but I do know that i'm growing up currently and it's something we alll go through.
