- Do you know who are the scientist that have contribution to the development of the Electromagnetic Wave Theory
- Its Heinrich Hertz!
- Well, Maxwell was awesome because he contribute in developing equations that showed the relationship between electricity and magnetism.
- Okay Jade. Who is Maxwell and what did he do.
- Heinrich Hertz was a scientist who showed the experimental evidence of electromagnetic waves and their link to light. Even the unit of frequency is named after him.
- Very good! Now Jude who is Hertz.
- Yes! Yes! Its Michael Faraday, Andre-Marie Ampere and Hans Christian Oersted.
- Very Good! very Good! I can say that you learned well this time. So, Any other scientists you know?
- Ah how can we forgot them. Michael Faraday is a scientist that probably best known for his discovery of electromagnetic induction.
- Andre-Marie Ampere a scientist who demonstrated the magnetic effect based on the direction of current.
- And?
- And lastly Hans Christian Oersted a scientist who showed how a current carrying wire behave like magnet.
- Also without Oersted the other scientist that we have mention would not be able to formulate the electromagnetic Wave Theory.
