- There was once a young, and handsome Indian prince named Sarama, and he was the son of the Great Karanisha. They all lived in the Gupta Empire, and it was a beautiful paradise. Everything prospered, and it was a wonderful nation.
- Sarama, you are young, strong, and a fierce warrior. You will go to Lanka, and retrieve the flute from Ravana, and save us all.
- Yes Father
- But, there was something wrong, the flute that controlled the Indus River was missing! The flute controlled the rivers, letting harvests thrive. If they didn’t have the flute, the water wouldn’t come to the harvests, it could create a famine. Karanisha was so furious that he shouted so loud, the whole empire could hear him.
- HELP!! I'M FOOT IS STUCK UNDER THIS BOULDER!!
- I will help you!
- And, it turns out, it was! Ravana and his nation, the Lanka Empire, has always been jealous of the Gupta Empire, and it’s riches, and this hasn’t been the first time Ravana tried to end the Gupta dynasty. He tried to ruin the Gupta Empire’s success before, but this time, it had gone too far.
- Thank you so much for freeing me! Now, me and my whole army will serve you and protect you from any harm.
- Then, Karanisha had an idea. He told Sarama his plan. Sarama listened to his father and knew what he had to do. He headed for the Himalayan mountains, because the Lanka Empire was beyond them. But, a problem occurred when he went there. How was he going to cross these great mountains?
- Just then, he saw an elephant-like creature. It was a pearly-white elephant with golden wings. It was a magnificent creature, but it was trapped. It’s foot was trapped under a HUGE boulder, probably from an avalanche.
- With his great strength, Sarama lifted the boulder, and freed the elephant. It turned out that the elephant was the king of the elephant army, and since Sarama practically saved it’s life, the elephant king swore to protect it on any mission or danger that shall come his way.
