- Warrant for the arrest of Elizabeth ProctorThe Court of Oyer and Terminer has demanded the immediate arrest of Elizabeth Proctor on the count of witchcraft, to be carried out by Ezekiel Cheever.
- This is Mary's poppet! I'll go get her.
- It was Goody Proctor!
- And what doesthe needle mean?
- Are you sure no one conjured you to say that?
- Mary is questioned about the poppet and admits to making the poppet, but didn't mean any harm by the needle. If this is true, Abigail could be accused of trying to get Elizabeth murdered.
- So you charge her with trying to murder Goody Proctor!
- I made it and put the needle in the court, and Abigail saw me!
- No, I didn't say that!
- Get out of my house!
- If she is innocent? What about the accusers? Everyone assumes they are innocent! This is all caused by vengeance!
