- I felt a connection with this poem because I had something similar happen to me once. When I was younger I loved to write stories about random things, like I would give objects stories about their lives and I would use my classmates' names. When someone would ask me what I was writing I would say that it was nothing important. One day a kid in one of my classes asked me what I was writing and I said that it was just something that I was working on they said that they would not like to be in it and I said that they were not in the story, but later they took the story from me and said why are they not in the story. I told them that they said that they told me that they did not want to be in the story and then they said that they wanted to be in the story. They said that they wanted me to rewrite the whole story over again and I said that I would not do that because at that time the story was 10 pages long then they said that they were going to stop being my friend because they were not in the story. So that day I lost a friend and a page in my story to that same friend when they ripped out the page of my story.
