- Hi I suppose you are my tourguide.
- Yes, let’s begin our journey.
- And here we have the famous Ain - I – akbari.
- Wow, is this written in Persian?
- Yes. It was written in the 16th century by Abul Fazal. It gives information about the army, legal and revenue systems during Akbar’s time.
- Wow they were so advanced back then.
- Yes. During Akbars reign the empire was at its peak. The administration of the empire was very systematic and even the military were advanced.
- How was Akbar ruling such a humongous empire? It must have been hard.
- Akbar was a great king. He cared a lot for his people and did a lot of good to the country. He had a commanding personality according to the ain-I-Akbari.
- Is the Ain-I-Akbari split into smaller books
- Ain-I-Akbari had five sections.The first one dealt with the royal household.The second book was about the military and civil services.

The third dealt with the imperial administration including law and justice. The fourth book dealt with the information on Hindu theology. Lastly the fifth book talks about Abul Fazal’s ancestors and gave an account of his life.
