- In the 1500's Ireland was torn apart cause of constant conflict and it has affected the farmers crops and having enough food for everyone. In the 1600's potatoes were introduced.
- Soon after in 1845 there was a problem. The potatoes grew fungus like infestation spread through the entire Ireland and all potatoes weren't edible as they were rotten.
- bla bla bla bla bla...
- Because of the rotten potatoes Ireland arranged for the U.S to bring corn for them to eat because the potato was rotten. Nevertheless, people back then didn't have great cooking skills therefore they did not know how to simply cook a piece of corn, in view of that fact it lead to people dying.

- Since people were dying. Many people from Ireland had moved to America therefore leading for the population to drop tremendously by 1.8 million people. The incident has approximately lead to about 1 million deaths.
- The lord then made promises to paupers families but breaking the promises after about going to British. Promising them of food, clothing, money and etc. They would put them half naked into an overcrowded boat known as the coffin ship.
- The people that moved to the U.S eventually settled in and started a new live.
