- on august 4th, 1701, The Great Peace of Montreal was achieved. In Montreal, Quebec, Canada, it was done.
- An influenza sickness broke through, and many people became ill. Lots of them, traveling by canoe- see later slides- had to be pulled to shore
- The first nations traveled many ways: canoe, horseback, and even on foot. It must've been awful, to walk all that way.
- a collective identity is how they all are together. but it's important to recognize they're individual identities too. This shows a collective identity because they're all showing how they are the together in the clothes they wear, in the houses they live in and the food they eat.
- One of the main terms of the treaty was an agreement for the Nations to not make war on each other. This is important so the land can be as utopias as possible. (the picture above is supposed to be the nations shaking hands as an agreement.)
- The treaty worked quite well. Nothing is completely perfect, but it worked a whole lot better than the situation before.
